On behalf of Rotary International, myself as club president, and our president-elect Michael Olson, we cordially invite you to join us for a Discover Rotary hour on Tuesday, March 19, from noon to 1 p.m. at Del Webb Library, 7641 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, S.C.
The Discover Rotary session is designed specifically for you and others who are interested in community service both here in Indian Land and beyond.
We want to discuss how Rotary’s motto of Service-Above-Self contributes to our communities’ success. The Rotary Clubs of Indian Land are indeed making a difference, and I think you’d like to be a community builder for Indian Land and beyond.
The Rotary Clubs of Indian Land offers two meeting options for its members.
• Our weekly lunch meeting is every Tuesday in the Del Webb Library from noon to 1 p.m.
• The Evening Satellite Club meets on the first and third Thursday at the Town Tavern, 9789 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, SC 29707.
Frankly, the addition of the Evening Satellite Club has resulted in an attraction from community leaders who wanted to be part of Rotary, but couldn’t join us for the lunch meetings.
I sincerely hope your schedule allows you to join us for this Discover Rotary hour as lunch is on us.
Please contact me directly at 973-713-6919 or bsabia@aol.com, or our club’s membership chair, Albert Blackmon, at albert.blackmon@sc.edu or mobile 704-936-7271, to address questions or provide further explanation.
Babette Sabia is president of the Rotary Clubs of Indian Land.
