LANCASTER, S.C. — The S.C. Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged 13 people, including three from Lancaster County, with animal fighting and baiting after breaking up a dogfight Saturday, April 20.
Two dogs were rescued from an active fight Saturday night in Richland County and taken to a local emergency veterinarian for treatment.
Multiple firearms and over $84,000 in cash were at the scene of the dogfight.
SLED partnered with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department for the operation.

They were all booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County.
